Where opportunities come from. Opportunities listed on LeadKettle are sourced from publicly available posts across professional networks. We surface posts in which a real person has publicly indicated intent to hire a freelancer or small agency.
Anonymization. We anonymize all information before publication. Names, companies, and contact details are kept private and only shown to a freelancer after they create a free account and request to reveal a specific opportunity.
Removal requests. If you posted publicly looking to hire and you'd rather not be listed here, email leadkettleorg@gmail.com with the subject line “Remove me” and we'll take you down within 24 hours. No questions asked. This applies to individuals and companies alike.
What we store about freelancers. When a freelancer signs up for alerts, requests an introduction, or joins our referral pool, we store the email, name, profile URL, rate, and skills they provide. This data is used only to match them with relevant opportunities and to send the emails they requested. We never sell it.
GDPR / CCPA. EU and California residents have the right to request a copy of their data, request deletion, and opt out of any data sharing. Email us at the address above to exercise these rights and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies / analytics. We use minimal first-party storage to remember your email and unlocked-opportunity history in your browser so you don't have to re-enter your details. We use PostHog for product analytics; events are pseudonymous and contain no message contents.
